Candidates Eligibility for MEO Class 1 Preparatory Course :
Qualifying Sea Service:

Candidates who have sailed 2nd engineer for 12 months after Class II COC on a vessel having propulsion power of 3000 KW or more and total 30 months sailing time experience after class IV COC are eligible to apply.
Propelling time has to be 2/3rd of sailing time/ sea service
Course fees is Rs. 10,500/- p.m

MEO Class 2 – Date of commencement : 1st Week of Every Month
Candidates Eligibility for MEO Class 2 Preparatory Course - (Online Course) :
i. Hold a certificate of competency as Marine Engineer Officer Class IV
( Officer in Charge of engineer watch)
ii. Have not less than one year approved sea-going service as assistant
engineer officer or engineer officer in charge of an engineering watch with propelling time of at least 8 months.
Course fees is Rs. 8000/- p.m
