Vision

 

A respectful, congenial, and equitable programme that is welcoming and engaging for alumni as well as their families. A programme with strong ties between industry and academia, and the ability of promote mentoring, internship and career opportunities for students and alumni in all domains.
 

Mission & Goals

 

  • To connect the existing alumnus with the institute and bridge the gap of communication between alumnus and students.
  • To promote exchange of academic and corporate experience with the students of the International Maritime Institute.
  • To mentor and channelize the efforts of the students seeking better opportunities to learn and grow.
  • To promote a goodwill and sense of pride to both alumni and students.
  • To help and support alumnus develop and spread a philanthropic and entrepreneurial mindset among students.
  • To advice and conduct activities that shall motivate and upgrade student skill sets.
  • To work with institute assets to suggest new technologies and improvements that shall benchmark industrial expectations.
  • To associate with the institute management in planning and execution of alumni events.
  • To develop and strengthen ties between our Alumni and International Maritime Institute by providing diverse tangible benefits, not limited to, career services, networking opportunities, events and lectures, and the opportunity to connect with and inspire students and graduates. And, to engage Alumni with Institute research and future goals, in order that each individual feels welcome and valued as a member of the International Maritime Institute.

    Aim of IMI Alumni Association : ASPIRE – Alumnus Supporting Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship
    The aim of IMI Alumni Association is to provide a platform to all present and future Alumni spread in every part of the world, to ASPIRE and promote self-pride, achievements and collaborate with International Maritime Institute to bring change in terms of academic and professional excellence.
